L&M is an interdisciplinary programme designed for students who wish to explore language and cognition in depth, have a strong interest in theoretical inquiry, and are eager to understand how linguistic and philosophical research can be applied in fields as diverse as Computational Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, Language Acquisition, Cognitive Psychology and Text Analysis.
Taught entirely in English, the programme provides a stimulating and intellectually rigorous environment for students from Italy and around the world, offering a truly international learning experience whose hallmarks are multiculturalism and research-oriented teaching. Students also benefit from a rich network of international opportunities, including a Double Degree programme with Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and several Erasmus+ agreements with leading European universities.
The programme offers two complementary curricula: Linguistics and Cognition and Philosophy and Cognition, while maintaining considerable flexibility to combine courses from both tracks.
